Which size to pick. Length is the blade length. 12 in (30 cm) for walls and standard tile, 16 in (40 cm) for large-format tile and floors where you spread more adhesive per pass. Stainless steel does not rust if the trowel is left wet; 65Mn steel is stiffer.
