Which size to pick. Size is the hole diameter. 1/4 in (6 mm) fits most screw anchors in tile, 5/16 to 3/8 in (8 to 10 mm) most plastic wall anchors, 1/2 in (12 mm) toilet and grab-bar anchors. Start at an angle to bite, then straighten up.
