Which size to pick. Size is the hole diameter. 1/4 in (6 mm) for screw anchors in tile, 5/16 to 3/8 in (8 to 10 mm) for plastic wall anchors, 1/2 in (12 mm) for toilet and grab-bar anchors. Keep the bit cool: short passes, no hammer mode.
